We started with a simple belief: everyone deserves to understand their financial data. What began as weekend workshops has grown into comprehensive education programs that serve Vietnamese businesses.
Back in 2018, I was working with small businesses around Rạch Giá and kept seeing the same problem. Business owners had access to tons of financial data but couldn't make sense of it. They'd show me spreadsheets full of numbers and ask, "What does this actually tell me about my business?"
That's when Henrik and I decided to start weekend workshops. Just basic stuff – how to read cash flow statements, spot trends in your revenue, understand what your margins really mean. Those first sessions were pretty rough, honestly. We were figuring it out as we went.
By 2022, we realized we needed to get more serious about this. The demand kept growing, and people were asking for deeper training. So we developed our structured programs and brought in Dmitri to help with the risk assessment side of things.
Henrik handles our advanced analysis modules. He spent eight years with regional banks before joining us, so he knows how to break down complex financial concepts. His favorite part? Teaching people to spot patterns in their data that they never noticed before.
Dmitri joined us in 2022 when we realized our participants needed better tools for understanding business risks. He develops our risk evaluation frameworks and teaches the practical side of financial planning. His background in insurance gives him a unique perspective on protecting business assets.
We use actual financial statements from local businesses (with permission, obviously). No made-up examples or theoretical scenarios. You'll work with the same kinds of data you see in your own business.
Maximum eight people per session. We tried larger groups in the early days – it doesn't work. Financial analysis needs individual attention, especially when people are learning to interpret their own business data.
The learning doesn't stop when the session ends. We provide three months of email support for questions about your specific business situation. Most people need this – financial analysis makes more sense when you're applying it to real problems.
Our comprehensive financial analysis program starts in September 2025. We keep the groups small, so spots fill up pretty quickly. If you want to finally understand what your business numbers are telling you, let's talk.
